Umberto Eco: UR-FASCISM, 2020

Ur-fascism (or eternal fascism) is originally the title of a short text that was uttered in 1995 by the Italian writer and philosopher Umberto Eco at Columbia University in America.

The Czech reader has the opportunity to encounter its complete Czech translation for the first time as part of the introduction of the eponymous project by the actor and performer Jakub Gottwald. The eponymous work thus refers to the text as one of the possible interpretative lines, as one of the possible paths to follow before being swallowed up by a labyrinth of questions.
