WeCanHelpYouGetAhead [Ed.3], 2017

Session 1.

This performance work was produced in the period between 2017-19.

In a 1963 essay by G. Deleuze, he writes that it is Ariadne’s thread that leads you out of the labyrinth – music and sound – that is what leads you out.

Black Sun ⥀ = REALTIME

I am in front of the black screen.

In the black screen.

I disappeared at the same time the last image did.

I melted in the darkness.

I, too exploded, and my remains has been dispersed into the universe night.

Ten seconds of total darkness.

The last trail of the sound of the planet’s explosions.

And there is silence.

How many suns are there?

One sun too many.

This is the way the world ends ⤶?⤷ and other ends of the world.

Not with bang a whimper.

Humans and/or… Terminator, or the arche-traveling shot…

A lack of realism.

⤷ Myšlenka na samotné hranici všech myšlenek → Warmachine bacterian archeology.

Session 2.

On the boundary between the interior and the exterior, the inner and the outer world, a crust formed, which is eventually so burned by stimuli that it creates the most favorable conditions for the reception of stimuli.

When it became clear that human beings had acquired the power to destroy life on earth, they began to destroy it in great style and very quickly. The apocalyptic thoughts and images became more and more widespread, in some parts of the world expanding at an unprecedented rate.

From fog to chaos.

You should know that what looks like hair to you isn’t hair at all. You will change. Your children will be like us and ours will be like you. What will our children be like? Different, as I said before. They won’t be like you. They’ll be a bit like us.

The more we try to analyze them, the more they look like fog – [Time is over]. When the cave begins to slowly dissolve, we will find ourselves in a space that will be filled with plaster casts of various monuments from all over the Western world. This strange monolithic space plays with a reproduction of a reality in which humanity is in a similar phase as the cave in question – in the phase of dissolving.

People are more the same than others – uncomfortably more the same than we are willing to admit. I wonder if it would end up the same way if any other cultures got the chance to destroy each other and the rest of the world.

Now we’ll have to learn how to live in the forest and how to put a roof over our heads and how to grow food, all without machines and without outside help. Will you forbid us to use technology? No, we won’t, but we won’t put any at your disposal either. Until you start making the things you need.
